  12. NEW ERA MOVIE (VIDEO) requires Video for Windows, which is included on the disc.
  13.  
  14. INSTALLATION:
  15.  
  16.    Step 1: Set up Video for Windows
  17.            a. From program manager file menu choose run.
  18.            b. Type D:\SETUP\SETUP (where D is your CD device)
  19.  
  20.    Step 2: Set up NEW ERA MOVIE (VIDEO)
  21.            a. From program manager file menu choose run.
  22.            b. Type D:\VIDEO\SETUP (where D is your CD device)
  23.  
  24. The installation is completely noninvasive and consists only of
  25. creating a program group and icons in the Program Manager which point to 
  26. the CD-ROM drive applications.

  30. HOW TO PLAY VIDEO:
  31.    1. You can from program manager file menu type "D:\VIDEO" to play.
  32.       (where D is your CD device)

  34.    2. You also can use movie icon to play.

  38. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  39.  
  40. To NEW ERA MOVIE (VIDEO) you should have a 386 or better CPU with 8-bit
  41. (256 color) or better graphics, a sound card, Microsoft Windows 3.1 and
  42. DOS 5.0, and a mouse.  Your PC should have at least 4MB of RAM, and a
  43. CD-ROM drive.

  45. For viewing digital video a 16-bit (32,000) color video adapter is
  46. recommended.  An 8-bit display also looks good.  This product is optimized 
  47. for 8-bit and 16-bit and 24-bit video.

  49. Be sure Windows is using a display driver that will provide 256 colors
  50. (or higher).  This product is not designed for 16-color displays (eg., the
  51. standard Windows VGA driver).  If your colors look bad, run Windows Setup 
  52. to install the display driver provided by your video card manufacturer that 
  53. supports 256 colors (any resolution). If you don't have much video memory, 
  54. select "640x480 256 color" in Windows Setup.

  56. Certain high-resolution video cards may require updated driver software
  57. for correct operation of Video for Windows.  Please contact your video
  58. board manufacturer to see if newer driver software is available.
